Title race between Manchester United and Chelsea is going neck to neck. Playing attacking football, Chelsea thrashed League struggler’s West Ham 4-1 away from home. Mid fielder Shaun Wright Phillips was at his absolute best throughout the game scoring twice in the first half.
Though, West Ham levelled the score line thanks to brilliant strike from Argentine Carlos Tevez, but they were just not good enough to compete against the quality Chelsea side. Frank Lampard was at his usual best, while goal keeper Peter Cech once again showed his worth in the Chelsea , ruining plenty of West Ham chances.
No victory of Chelsea is complete without a goal from Didier Drogba and as usual he also scored in the second half. This victory means that Chelsea is now only 3 point behind leader’s Manchester United in the English Premiere League. On the other hand, West Ham is still languishing in the relegation zone and looks destined to finish in the bottom of the league.
